What would happen if we stripped Christianity down to its core beliefs? The late great C.S. Lewis reflects on his core beliefs in Mere Christianity. This collection of works surprised me in the most wonderful way. Many of Lewis’ ideas challenge popular church thinking and after reading it for myself I am surprised that this book is quoted in so many conservative circles. It helped me with tough concepts that I wrestle with myself such as reconciling free will with God’s sovereignty. It was so meaty, that I purchased the study guide and gathered a few friends to go through it with me. The link to the study guide is also included below.
