Reflections of a Variant

Inspired, written by the late Rachael Held Evans, is a collection of her thoughts as she wrestles with her journey away from scripture literalism. Rachael’s theology may be a little more progressive than mine, but I still loved every moment of this work. She is not afraid to struggle out loud and asks the questions most Christians are afraid to even think. I have utmost respect for her honesty and vulnerability. Her takes on Hagar and Job were so beautiful they had me in tears, and her walk through the gospels made me love Jesus even more.
